AUTOMATED TELEPHONE NOTIFICATION SYSTEM
- In an effort to improve communication between parents/guardians and school, Dartmouth Public Schools has contracted with Blackboard Connect 5, an automated telephone notification system. This system enables school to notify all households and parents/guardians by telephone within minutes of an emergency or unplanned event that causes an early dismissal, school cancellation or late start. The service is also used to communicate general announcements or reminders and to confirm student absences.
- When used, the service will simultaneously contact all listed phone numbers in our parent/guardian contact list and will deliver a message. Please know that we will use this system judicially and you have the ability to opt out of this service. All information and contact numbers are strictly secure and confidential and are only used for the purpose described.
- If you have caller identification, the Call ID will display "Town of Dartmouth" or "Dartmouth Public Schools". We try to send general announcement messages at 6:00 P.M.
